This is Charlotte Katie about an hour or so after she was born back in July. I can just stare at this photo forever. What a miracle that this grew inside me, and it’s a whole person. Just a very small one. …
It’s been a lovely first week, getting to know little Charlotte. She is an absolute joy to have around!
This was her and I just a couple of hours after she was born.
Only a week later, and she’s already over having her photo taken!…
At last we have our new baby! Little Charlotte, born at 12.22pm today weighing a hefty 9lb 13oz. Photos will follow!…
I realise things have been a bit quiet on the blogging front – and just in case you’re wondering if that’s because I’m busy with a newborn, well, it’s not! I had hoped to have had this little bundle by now, but it seems that he/she is far more comfortable than I’d like! …

So – we’ve been given 60 or so pet tadpoles! They started as little black dots, inside some nasty slimy stuff, and now they’re starting to wriggle about in it a bit. They don’t seem to mind being locked inside this giant mass of jelly, but I expect one day it will get old for them and they’ll swim right out. …
We’ve been back home for 24 hours now, and the sweet relief of my own bed again – ahhhh. There’s always this peaceful feeling of being back in my own home again, and a sad feeling that it’s all over, until next time 🙂
As usual, there are lots of photos to record our time away, but showing them to the world one by one would bring us back to the old days of forcing visitors to sit and suffer through an evening of holiday slides.…
