It was two and a half days of being immersed in Pinot Noir. Not literally, thankfully, but I sure do know a lot more about this wine variety than I did before the Cloudy Bay 2014 Pinot Noir Event! Don’t get me wrong, I could quite easily tell the difference between a red and a white wine, but being able to identify what region of the world a particular Pinot came from just by tasting it was (and still is!)…
Dough. That’s what my kids call it. It’s soft and squishy and if I thought that the Internet truly kept me anonymous and I wouldn’t run into you in the supermarket, I’d show you a picture of it. It sits right around my middle, mostly, as well as hanging onto other places with it’s squishy cuddliness. …
Paul was on his way home from a job down the Marlborough Sounds this morning, when he happened to spot this piece of complete awesomeness. It’s one of those one in a million light conditions – he said that within a minute, the light was gone and it was all over.…
We were watching tv the other night, and this particular show featured a lot of New York City. I know there are die hard New York fans out there, but I had culture shock just imagining myself surrounded by all that concrete, flashing lights, and the hustle and bustle of the city. …

I realise things have been a bit quiet on the blogging front – and just in case you’re wondering if that’s because I’m busy with a newborn, well, it’s not! I had hoped to have had this little bundle by now, but it seems that he/she is far more comfortable than I’d like! …
So, it’s about time that I, Paul, make my second post on this blog. Normally I leave this part up to Jess (other than writing the software to run the blog).
I have been all over Marlborough shooting some fantastic places for Bayleys during the last few weeks. …
I’ve been a little blog neglectful lately, I’ve been happily updating weddings, and forgetting the fact that Paul has been taking some stellar images that really should be seen!
This was a shot for Bayleys, I think it looks just like a painting.…
Check out Riannon’s absolutely stunning eyes, what a little cutie!
On Saturday we popped out to Yealands Winery to photograph the Ulysses Motorcycle club. The wind was absolutely atrocious, but these guys soldiered on amazingly! I think there must have been about 60 members who turned up and had a wonderful time trying Yealands wine and touring the winery.…
