It must have been the hardest secret to keep, knowing that your daughter is about to be proposed to and keeping all of that excitement at bay. I know I’d be rubbish at it – OH but I’d try! I get a silly grin on my face when my favourite cheese is on special, so if she was about to be proposed to, I’m sure my daughters would wonder WHAT on earth I was so happy about. So this message goes out to any future son-in-laws, please don’t keep me waiting too long before asking her. Just putting it out there. I’m happy to give it a little bit more time right now though, seeing I don’t have any daughters over the age of 16.
Stacey’s Mum excitedly wrote to us asking for information before Stacey was even engaged. This would be the first time I’ve been asked to photograph a wedding before the bride even knows about it! It wasn’t too much later that an even more excited Stacey got in contact with us and plans for her 2015 wedding were well underway!
Stacey and Joe are the kind of couple you just can’t help liking. Both are stupidly attractive, sweet and super easy to talk to. I’m not into wishing time away, but I’m kind of wishing that 2015 would make its way here soon because this wedding is going to be STUNNING!
The wedding is going to be held at Wither Hills Winery, so we started our E-session there and just followed the light and textures until the sunset we were all hoping for exploded out of the sky. Because we’ve done this a time or two now, we managed to be right at the right place at the right time. And the right place, quite often, is The Tree of course. But that will come later in the post.
Stacey and Joe met 3 years ago through mutual friends. They’re both pretty sure they liked each other at exactly the same time, although as a true gentleman, Joe made the first move.
Then the sky that had been a little bit dull and overcast lit up and became something really quite spectacular!
Stacey and Joe, you have to be the cutest picture perfect couple to work with, I’m sure we’re going to be great friends by the time your wedding rolls around! Bring it on!
